Westwood Adds Another Publix Anchored Center to its Southeast Portfolio

Westwood Financial announced today the acquisition of Tobesofkee Crossing in Macon, Georgia. The newly constructed shopping center opened in 2020 and is anchored by a 48,387 square foot Publix Super Market. Westwood also owns and operates Wesleyan Station, an 88,326 square foot center, just 5 miles northeast next to Wesleyan College.

The 67,887 square foot center is located at the corner of Thomaston Road and Tucker Road in West Macon. Tobesofkee Crossing is nearly fully leased and features an Urgent Care, Lush Nail Bar, and a variety of eateries including Graffiti’s Pizza, Sakura Poke & Hibachi, Cake n’ Shake, and even a Peach Cobbler Café. A newly opened Taco Bell occupies one of the outparcels.
